WIDGET: UPCOMING PUBLICATION
RECENT + UPCOMING PUBLICATION
BOOK + EDITORIAL
My work will be appearing in the 2nd edition of Season Annual, a beautifully printed review of the Premier League's 2016/7 season. The book is currently available for pre-order and is due for release this summer.
Most recently, I have illustrated an article for the print edition of Issue 4 of Box to Box Football, available for purchase here.
Coming soon: the debut print edition of Unusual Efforts, a new online soccer magazine launched last year. I was commissioned to create the cover and all interior illustrations for the inaugural issue. This publication will be released late 2017. (Preview of selected art at right)
Other recently published illustrations include the cover for the Winter issue of 3Elements Literary Review, and several interior illustrations. I contribute regularly to both print and online editions of Sula Collective. Earlier this year, I have had work in Inquiries Journal, a cross-disciplinary academic publication.
WIDGET: GIFT OF A GOAL
EVERY LIVERPOOL GOAL
I am excited to be one of six artists participating in a collaborative charity fundraiser called Gift of a Goal. I will be illustrating every Liverpool goal scored in the Premier League's 2016/17 season to raise funds in support of The Robin Cancer Trust and The Willow Foundation.
My work in Season Annual 2016/17 will be in the exhibition of the book launch in London. The event is on June 15th at Hoxton Basement, where the book will be first available for purchase.
NEW YORK RED BULLS
Last summer, pieces from my New York Red Bulls portrait series appeared in exhibits at the School of Visual Arts, as well as in a special event called Trequartista. This was a two-part exhibit hosted by Soccer Sensei to open the Copa America Centenario, and for the final match of the Euros.
WIDGET: BALL MAPS
Hand-drawn Ball Maps track the movement of the ball during the course of a match, and include notations recording goals, shot attempts, fouls drawn, set pieces, and other details.
The series originated with the 2014 World Cup and continue to expand with selected matches from the English Premier League, La Liga, and the Euros.
Reproductions are available as giclee prints, made at an established Brooklyn printshop specializing in fine art printing, with pigmented inks and archival papers. Originals are available solely by commission as intaglio etchings, made with zinc or copper plates with the original hand-drawn map added with chine colle.
